Stranger Things (Season 4 Volume 1)
Introduction
After years of anticipation and fan-theories “Stranger Things” Season 4 Volume 1 hit the screen on 27th may and one thing for sure this season won the scariest season award, the whole experience was beyond expectations.
Screenplay & Storyline
Season 3 gave us mixed reaction though for me it was great and emotional. But Season 4 Part 1 gives us so much more this season unfolds with the past of Eleven, with the experiments happened on eleven and same age children and shows us how much present eleven is effected for that and is very insecure after the loss of her power and father like figure, and school bullies are sure to make her life more miserable. She is staying in California with Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers away from her now boyfriend Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler. Again, in this new season many new characters are introduced but they blend in the story perfectly when another evil entity ”Venca” makes Hawkins resident’s life unbearable. Specially, the last climax oh my god surely it will sweep you from your feet. There are many subplots happening in the same time that will end up as one is very entertaining to watch like without Eleven’s power it’s definitely hard for others to fight the evil but still they tried their 100% and beyond and Eleven without her power as an insecure and guilty teenager how she will overcome her fear and win back her power will make you emotional for sure!
Performance & Direction
Stranger Things, an American science fiction drama created by Matt and Ross Duffer, known professionally as the Duffer Brothers returns after long 3 years work and definitely raised the bar once again. The Vfx, screenplay, tension is top-notched and well synced. And metaphorically empathizing the fact for mental health is well executed and heart touching.
Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven , such a great young actor she is, the way she portrays her vulnerabilities will make you feel that you are also in this journey with her.
Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers once again wins our heart with her simple yet powerful actions towards her loved ones.
David Harbour as Jim Hopper again proves how much great a actor he is with powerful delivery of emotions.
Joe Keery as Steve Harrington well our boy shines the screen his smile and really steal our heart again and make us root for him and Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler.
Conclusion
Well as I said in earlier season review also Stranger thing is like fine wine each season gets better only. This season has everything every emotion and the screenplay is wonderful! I can’t believe I waited 3 years for this masterpiece and ended up watching this in one day! That much hooked I was! So, what are you waiting for go hit the play button! Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 is currently streaming in Netflix.
