Introduction

While searching for science-fiction content I came across “Stranger Things” and trust me it’s the best decision I have made! The plot has everything, the perfect amount of terror, light entertainment, sci-fi with a reference of 80s. The story is so engaging that it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Screenplay & Storyline

The story is set in the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana, during the early 1980s, when Noah Schnapp as Will Byers goes missing his friends, family everyone in town goes looking for him and as the story progress the alternate dimension called “The Upside Down” is introduced. Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair determines to start their own operation to find their friend Will, while doing so they meet Eleven who starts to assist them with her unique power. As the story progress more people start disappearing that leaves others people scared and anxious. Refusing to accept that her son Will is dead Winona Ryder tries everything she can to see her younger son again. David Harbour as Jim Hopper chief of Hawkins Police Department becomes more and more responsible figure.

Season 2 starts with mystical opening and things get more tensed as even after being recovered Will is still influenced by the creature from Upside Down. The soundtracks, retro filters and perfect amount of horror perfectly blends into story. As the stake gets higher each character plays their part perfectly.

Season 3 introduce many new characters and they perfectly blend into the plot making it more meaningful and fun to watch.

Performance & Direction

Stranger Things, an American science fiction drama created by Matt and Ross Duffer, known professionally as the Duffer Brothers. With not so famous actors and limited budget Season one exceeds our expectation and sets the bar higher, introduce the character perfectly and sets the plot. Season two gets scarier and lots of character development. Overall, this season really expanded on all of its aspects and kept hype intact. In season three many new characters, villains are introduced, it’s an absolutely satisfying ride that will make you go through a ride of emotions. No doubt season 3 takes a risk splitting up main characters and divide them into subgroups but the impact is positive. The action scenes and VFX are well executed.

Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven gave us a terrifying and mind blowing performance. Even without having much dialogue her facial expressions will make you feel for her.

Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers the mother of Will and Jonathan is fabulous ,the way she portrays mother’s love and concern will make you go tearful.

Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers gave us unique and impactful performance, their friendship will comfort you and give you heart-warming feelings. The young actors did a fantastic job portraying each character uniquely, as they become children to teenager it’s beautifully executed in the plot.

Each and every character gave their best to make this show perfect shoutout to them for this amazing delivery of emotions.

Conclusion

Stranger thing is like fine wine each season gets better only. No matter what age category you are in you will love this show! Once you press the start button there’s no going back, Season 4 first set is dropping this Friday so watch previous seasons if you haven’t and be ready for rollercoaster ride of emotions.
