Samantar (TV Series) is a Marathi web mini series by MX Player based on Suhas Shirwalkar’s Drama & Thriller novel Samantar. [1] [2] It is produced by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar. All the nine episodes in the first season of this Web series are directed by Satish Rajwade. It is dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language as well. Swwapnil Joshi is leading cast in the web series.
The web series is set across the backdrop of Mumbai. Swwapnil joshi is seen as the central character Kumar Mahajan. He is an atheist and going through one of the toughest phases of his life, while also witnessing a major financial crisis. He seems to be hitting a dead-end which makes it all the more frustrating. However, a consult with a Swami leads him on a quest to find a man by the name Sudharshan Chakrapani.
