Lucifer 2016 English Horror Netflix Series Review

Lucifer (S1-S5)

4.5 Star popcorn reviewss

Some of us believe in God and some of us don’t. Watching Lucifer brings to us a different angle to GODs own family and trust me, I think that isn’t anything different from what we have. All daughters and sons of GOD have special powers with responsibilities to carry. Some are obedient children while others are notoriously unique.

Lucifer Morningstar is one notoriously unique devil, yet an angel who rules Hell and resents his father’s approach to do things. After spending some billion of years at the throne of Hell, he retires and starts his own life on earth in Los Angels while enjoying the things he loves (women, whiskey, parties). He owns a pub called Lux and also becomes a consultant to LAPD where he meets the love of his life, detective Chloe. Chloe is blessed with goodness by GODs first child Gabriel and it’s part of GODs plan that Lucifer becomes vulnerable when Chloe is around. That’s when he realises a different feeling of human life. Lucifer Morningstar has a special gift of fulfilling desires which he uses as a medium to interrogate witness and put bad people behind bars. As love story continues to unwind between Lucifer and Chloe, the series becomes more mystical and captivating with an angel having a human baby, demons visiting the earth and not only that, the last season also shows GOD himself visiting earth. At one end the celestial beings like life on earth and at the other they do not like the human emotions of pain and heart break.

The story really hooks you up from the first episode and has mind boggling graphics. All the episodes are perfectly directed with few references from bible as well. The directors ensured tiniest details to reflect the life of celestial beings. I would say- Just Perfect!!

Every character in the series has a lead role according to me. Every story is incomplete without a single person not been present. I cannot imagine anyone else saying ” What do you truly desire?” Other than Tom Ellis.

It is a must-must watch show on Netflix and guess what, it’s funny as well. Imagine devil joking around with you, free angel flights, demon as a bounty hunter, a pinch of love story, drama and emotions.

Doesn’t it sound like a perfect package? Or I should say perkage😂
